INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons water

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Stir water and cornstarch together until smooth and set aside.

  • 1 can (8 oz.) pineapple tidbits in own juice

  • 1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained

  • ½ cup chopped green pepper

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup water

  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard

  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce

Combine these ingredients and bring to boil for 1 minute.  Add cornstarch mixture and continue cooking until thick.

  • 1 package meatballs from basic recipe

Stir in meatballs. Cook 15-20 minutes until meatballs are hot.

  • 3 cups hot cooked rice

Serve meatballs over rice.
