Soft bison tallow is from cooking bone broth. It comes from marrow in bones and is skimmed off the top of the broth.. It stays softer at room temperature, refrigeration recommended, however it is stable at room temperature for several days. "Firm" tallow is rendered from the fat/ It remains firm at room temperature, but keeps best refrigerated. Either may be used for cooking or making soap or other skin products. Packaged in 10 oz. plastic tubs or 14 oz. glass jars.
